I whipped this up because I was tired of eating the two veggies that hubby likes. This went over VERY well! Yippee! Now I have three vegetables I can serve! Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can white corn, drained |
1/4-1/2 cup half-and-half |
1 clove garlic, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon curry powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 dash ground black pepper |
3 slices american cheese |
Directions:
1. Combine corn, half-and-half, garlic, curry powder, salt, and pepper in small (1 qt.) kettle. 2. Heat on medium heat, stirring frequently, until heated through. 3. Add cheese and heat, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted and sauce is thickened. |
