this is a very simple recipe. perfect for summer barbecues. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) bag coleslaw mix |
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise |
3 tablespoons white vinegar |
3 tablespoons sugar |
splash half-and-half |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. in a small bowl combine mayo, salt, sugar, and half and half. whisk together until smooth. whisking is the key to this recipe as it makes the mixture creamy. pour mixture over cole slaw mix and fold together until mixture evenly covers slaw. refrigerate for a few hours before serving - overnight is best. |
