A beautiful old dip that is so tasty, I hope you all enjoy it. Ingredients:
1 (14 ounce) can baby clams, with juice |
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature |
1/4 cup green onion, minced |
1 tablespoon celery salt |
1 tablespoon garlic, minced |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Drain juice from clams. and reserve. 2. Place cream cheese in a bowl; work with a fork until soft, then add clams, green onions, celery salt, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well with fork. 3. Gradually add 3/4 of the clam juice. (Adding the juice too quickly will cause it to be too runny - it should have a creamy consistency). 4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. 5. Serve with chips or vegetables. |
