Creamy Chicken With Bow Tie Pasta |

this tastes so good! Ingredients:
6 ounces dried bow tie pasta |
12 ounces boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into strips |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 (15 ounce) can contadina tomato sauce |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can contadina recipe ready italian-style diced tomatoes |
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can sweet peas, drained |
1/4 cup whipping cream |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. 2. meanwhile, cook chicken in hot oil in large skillet over medium-high heat 2-3 minutes or until no longer pink. 3. Stir in tomato sauce, peas and undrained tomatoes. 4. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. 5. Simmer, uncovered, 5-10 minutes or until thickened. 6. Slowly stir in cream. 7. Serve over hot pasta. 8. Sprinkle with finely shredded parmesan cheese if desired. |
