Creamy Chicken & Rice Casserole |

This is a simple, low-cost, fast prep recipe that is creamy & delicious! I usually double it because it doesn't really make enough for real portions. =) Ingredients:
1 lb chicken (any type just stay around $3.00 per pkg.) |
3/4 cup of uncooked white rice, not instant rice ($0.99 per box) |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup ($0.50 at wal-mart) |
1/4 teaspoon paprika (or just use your favorite all season spice) |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1 1/3 cups water |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can green beans ($0.50 at wal-mart) |
Directions:
1. Stir water, rice, soup and seasoning in shallow baking dish then add chicken. 2. Sprinkle chicken with additional seasoning. 3. Bake at 375 for 45 min to 1 hour or until rice and chicken are done. 4. As the picture shows you can top the chicken with cheese and toss back in the oven for about 5 minutes to melt. 5. Serve with green beans. |
