This is an easy to make, great tasting soup . I got this resipe from a dear friend of mine a few years ago and my family really enjoys it! Ingredients:
1/4 gallon milk |
1 can chicken broth |
1 stick of butter |
1-2 chicken breasts |
4 cans buttermilk biscuits |
salt & pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Place Chicken in a saucepan and cover with water. Boil Chicken until cooked through. (Save the water.) 2. Cut Chicken into bite sized pieces, place back in water. 3. Add 1 stick butter, Milk, and Chicken broth. Bring to a boil. 4. While soup is cooking, Open biscuts and tear or cut each biscuit into quarters. 5. When Soup is boiling, reduce heat to medium and slowly add biscuits. Stirring them into soup often. 6. Let cook on low for about 30 minutes, or until buscuits are no longer doughy . 7. Enjoy! |
