Creamy Cheesy Garlicky Mashed Potatoes |

Just a simple recipe I created with stuff I already had in the house. Feel free to experiment with the amounts listed. These are just estimates. Ingredients:
5 large potatoes, peeled |
1/2 cup butter |
1/4-1/2 cup milk (or more, for creamier potatoes) or 1/4-1/2 cup half-and-half (or more, for creamier potatoes) |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2-1 cup cheddar cheese |
salt and pepper (optional) |
Directions:
1. Boil potatoes for approximately 20 minutes or until soft. 2. Drain potatoes. 3. Put potatoes in a large bowl with all ingredients except cheese. 4. Mix with an electric mixer, adding the cheese once the other ingredients are mixed. |
