This is a delicious side dish to any meal...easy to make too. Ingredients:
2 (15 ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup milk or 1 cup half-and-half |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. set oven to 350 degrees. 2. grease a medium-size baking dish. 3. pour the drained corn into the baking dish. 4. in a small saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour. 5. add milk. 6. whisk to make a thick white sauce. 7. remove from heat when thickened. 8. add the sauce and the cheese to corn in baking dish; mix well. 9. cover and bake for 20 mins. |
