This dressing is my spin on all the Caesar Dressings I have tried in the past. I took all the tastes I like from all of them and combined them into my ultimate. Ingredients:
1/3 c. dijon mustard |
1/2 c. mayo |
3 t. lemon juice |
11/2 t. vinegar (white distilled) |
1/2 c. olive oil |
1/2 c. granulated garlic or 4 garlic cloves chopped fine |
1 t. hot sauce |
21/2 t. worcester sauce (w sauce) |
black pepper; to taste approx. 1t. |
salt; to taste, approx. 21/2 tea |
11/4 t. parmesan cheese (grated, fresh) |
11/2 t. dried basil |
11/2 t. dried oregano |
1 tea ground mustard |
2 t. onion powder |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl with whisk until creamy. Once creamy place into a salad dressing container and chill for a few hours before serving. 2. Serve over Romaine lettuce, freshly shaved parmesan cheese and homemade croutons. 3. Make approximately 14 fl. oz. |
