This dish is a new way to serve up and old dish! Ingredients:
2 1/2 c. of fresh broccoli |
1/4 c. of chopped onion |
1 c. of milk |
2 tbsp. of all-purpose flour |
1 c. of shredded cheddar cheese (optional) |
2 c. of chicken broth |
1/2 tsp. of dried oregano |
add salt and pepper to individual taste. |
Directions:
1. Begin by bringing broth to a boil over medium flame. 2. Add in the broccoli and onion, cooking until broccoli is tender. 3. You will want to get a bowl, add the flower to bowl. 4. Slowly you can add milk. Mix well. 5. Next you will add flour mixture to broth. 6. Stir constantly. Once the soup gets thick, you can add cheese. 7. Serve. |
