Not for the calorie wise but very sophisticated for the start of a special meal. Ingredients:
2 cups chicken broth |
1 cup onion, finely minced and sauteed in butter |
1 cup brie, cubed |
2 cups milk |
1/2 cup chives, chopped |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan add broth, sauteed onions and brie. 2. Cook and stir over medium heat until cheese is melted. 3. Pour into food processor and blend till smooth. 4. Return to saucepan, add milk and heat through. (Do not boil) 5. Serve immediately sprinkled with chives. |
