Creamy Blueberry Ice Cream |

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Castro Estate in Garland, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
1 pack unflavored gelatin |
1/2 cup milk cold |
1/2 cup milk heated to boiling |
2 cups fresh blueberries |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
2 cups whipping cream whipped |
Directions:
1. In blender sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold milk then let stand 4 minutes. 2. Add hot milk and process on low until gelatin is completely dissolved then cool completely. 3. Add blueberries and sugar then process at high speed until blended. 4. Pour into a large bowl and chill stirring occasionally until mixture mounds slightly. 5. Fold whipped cream into gelatin mixture then pour into two freezer trays and freeze until firm. |
