Creamy Avocado With Bacon Dip (Guacamole) |

An a adopted recipe that I tweeked. SUGGESTED DIPPERS: Green Bell Pepper, Bok Choy, Celery, Pita Bread, Radishes, Aged Cheddar Cheese, Cheese Crackers Ingredients:
1 avocado (ripe) |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/3 cup sour cream |
1/4 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce |
2 tablespoons bacon, crumbled, 2 strips or 2 tablespoons imitation bacon bits |
1/4 cup cucumber, finely diced |
2 sprigs cilantro (to garnish) or 2 sprigs fresh basil |
Directions:
1. Pit, peel, and mash the avocado with a fork. 2. Blend in the lemon juice, blending well and then add the sour cream, blending well. 3. Mix in all the rest of the ingredients, blending well. 4. Garnish with cilantro. 5. Cover and chill. |
