creamy cheesy potato casserole . I am putting all my moms recipes from her box online. I dont remember every having this but it sounds good to me!! I will make and post a pic soon if none else does. Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh frozen chopped onions |
1 can (10 1/2oz) condensed cream of celery or mushroom soup |
1 package 3oz cut in cubes |
4 cups frozen southern style hash browns (or country style dinner fries , potatoes o'brien) |
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 400
2. in 1 qt sauce pan, over med heat cook frozen onion until tender. Stir on undiluted soup and cream cheese cubes; cook , stirring constantly until smooth and hot
3. in casserole dish alternatly layer frozen potatoes and hot cream sauce ending with a sauce layer
4. cover and bake 45 min or until sauce is bubbly and potatoes are tender.
5. remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese .
