Ingredients:
4 slice(s) day old crusty bread crusts removed and torn in pieces |
2 anchovy fillets |
1 box(es) 9 oz artichoke hearts |
1/2 teaspoon(s) sugar |
2/3 cup(s) olive oil |
3 tablespoon(s) lemon juice |
salt and pepper |
chives chopped |
Directions:
1. Pour 1 cup water over the torn up bread. Immediately squeeze as much water as you can from the bread. Put in a food processor with artichokes, anchovies and sugar. Process until a paste forms. With machine running add oil. Add lemon juice. Add 1 T at a time until mixture is creamy. Season with salt and pepper adm garnish with chives. Drizzle top with oil. |
