The best Alfredo sauce ever, but not authentic. Adaped from a recipe in Great American Favorite Brand Name Cookbook. Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, cubed (full fat) |
1 cup grated parmesan cheese (grate your own) |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pan. 2. Set over low heat. 3. Stir frequently until melted and smooth. 4. Serve over your favorite pasta. 5. Also good on broccoli or cauliflower. |
