Creamed vegetables.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
2 cups hot cooked or canned vegetables, drained
Directions:
1. Melt butter; blend in flour and dash salt.
2. Add milk all at once.
3. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, till thickened and bubbly; pour over vegetables.
4. Serves 4.
