Creamed Tomatoes

This is a delicious side dish for chicken or fish. Really easy to make too.
Ingredients:
6 firm tomatoes
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
salt and pepper to taste
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup heavy cream
Directions:
1. Cut the tomatoes into thick slices.
2. In a shallow pan, combine flour with salt and pepper.
3. Dip the tomato slices in the flour mixture.
4. Heat the butter in a large skillet.
5. Sprinkle half the brown sugar on the tomatoes.
6. Put tomatoes in skillet with butter and cook slowly.
7. Flip and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
8. When tomatoes are tender, pour the cream over the tomatoes and cook until it bubbles.
9. Really good served over rice!
