This is an original recipe that I came up with through trial and error. My picky husband loves it! You can omit the bacon to save a few calories and fat grams. Ingredients:
12 ounces fresh spinach leaves |
2 tablespoons light sour cream |
3 ounces light cream cheese |
1 1/2 tablespoons lipton recipe secrets savory herb with garlic soup mix |
6 slices bacon, thin, chopped |
2 tablespoons light margarine |
Directions:
1. Melt margarine in a large frying pan. Add spinach and cook about 3 minutes. 2. Add softened cream cheese, sour cream, soup mix, and bacon pieces. Stir well. 3. Simmer until cheese is melted. 4. Salt and pepper to taste. |
