Potatoes and beans in a tasty sauce. Ingredients:
4 medium red potatoes, cut into wedges |
1 (10 ounce) package frozen green beans |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
1 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Cook potatoes until tender. 2. Cook beans according to pkg directions. 3. Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour, salt, pepper and thyme. 4. Slowly add milk. 5. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute. 6. Drain potatoes and beans;,place in a serving bowl. 7. Pour sauce over and mix well. |
