This is a family favorite that is served each year at Thanksgiving. Recipe handed down from grandmother. Ingredients:
3 (15 1/4 ounce) cans cream-style corn |
3/4 cup evaporated milk |
1/4 cup milk |
1 egg, well beaten |
1 cup cracker crumb |
1/8 cup onion, minced |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons butter |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat corn and milk gradually. 2. Stir in egg. 3. Add 3/4 cup cracker crumbs, onion, and sesasoning. 4. Mix well. 5. Pour into greased pan. 6. Melt butter and pour over 1/2 cup cracker crumbs. 7. Sprinkle on top. 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. |
