Cream Sauce for Swedish Meatballs |

In England, swedish meatballs are very available and cheap. They are very good with the following cream sauce and boiled potatoes. My son, who has to be one of the faddiest people on the planet, found this delicious. This is from the cookbook 'Ikea's Real Swedish Food Book'. Ingredients:
1/8 pint cream |
1/4 pint beef stock |
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce, to taste |
1 tablespoon white flour |
1 tablespoon water |
salt |
white pepper |
Directions:
1. Swirl out the pan with boiling beef stock. 2. Add the cream. 3. Add the flour mixed with approx 1 tablepoons of water. 4. Add the seasonings. 5. Simmer until the sauce thickens. 6. Serve with Swedish meatballs. |
