Another dessert from the potluck recipe book created by employees at Bank of America Loan Center, Brea. Ingredients:
1 c. water |
1/2 c. butter or margarine |
1 c. flour |
4 eggs |
8 oz. cream cheese, softened |
2 x 4 oz vanilla instant pudding mix |
2 c. milk |
12 oz cool whip, thawed |
1/4 c. chocolate syrup |
grated chocolate |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a 2 quart saucepan, bring the water and butter to a boil, stirring occasionally. Stir in the flour. Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. 3. Spread the batter in a greased 10 x 15 baking pan. 4. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool in the pan on a wire rack. 5. Beat the cream cheese in a bowl until smooth, scraping the bowl occasionally. Add the pudding mixes and milk. Beat until well blended. 6. Spread over the baked layer. Top with the Cool Whip. 7. Chill, covered, in the refrigerator. 8. Before serving, top with chocolate syrup and garnish with grated chocolate. |
