from a favorite restaurant Ingredients:
10 lbs mushrooms, sliced |
2 lbs celery, sliced |
2 lbs onions, chopped |
1 lb butter |
4 tablespoons garlic, minced |
4 tablespoons hot sauce |
3 cups white wine |
1 1/2 cups chicken base |
1/2 cup thyme |
4 bay leaves |
1 gallon water |
1 gallon cream |
2 cups cornstarch |
Directions:
1. Saute mushrooms with butter; add celery, onion, wine; simmer 15 minutes. Add chicken stock & water. Add cream. Bring to low boil. Add cornstarch dissolved in water to thicken. |
