                    Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                2tbsp butter  |  
                                                275g button mushrooms  |  
                                                900ml chicken stock  |  
                                                1 onion  |  
                                                3tbsp plain flour  |  
                                                salt & pepper  |  
                                                2tbsp sherry (optional)  |  
                                                300ml whipping cream  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Wipe mushrooms and slice. Peel and dice onion. 2. In large saucepan, melt butter and saute onions and mushrooms for about 5 mins or until onions are soft 3. Sprinkle over flour. Add stock, a little at a time, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring until thickened. 4. Add cream and bring to boil, stirring.
