Something I made over a friend's house that came out pretty good, if I do say so myself. I love cream of mushroom soup, it's great in a pinch if you're stuck cooking and have no idea what the person you're cooking for likes. Read more . lol Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breasts, chopped into bite-sized pieces |
1/2 lb cooked ziti or penne |
1/2 large spanish onion, chopped |
2 cups fresh broccoli flourettes |
1 can campbell's cream of chicken soup with roasted garlic (that's the best one) |
1 tsp milk |
1 tsp margarine |
dash of smoked paprika and dill |
1 tbsp olive oil |
salt, pepper and parsley to taste |
optional: chopped red bell pepper |
Directions:
1. Saute' the onions and chicken with the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until onions are aeromatic and the chicken begins heating through, about 5-7 minutes. Add the broccoli and seasonings, stir well. Cook for another 10-15 minutes until chicken is cooked through before adding the soup contents and cooked pasta. Use the milk to get out what remains inside the can, and the butter to thicken the mixture. Add more herbs and chopped red bell pepper for color if desired. 2. This is ridiculously easy and good. Try it, now. I command you! >_ |
