This is a very nice and tasty side dish that goes great with a salad and crusty bread for a nice and comforting lunch or light dinner. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 can hearts of palm drained |
2 cups chicken stock |
3 teaspoons flour |
1 large egg yolk |
3 cups water |
3/4 cup plain yogurt |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
2 tablespoons parsley finely chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix chicken stock, flour and egg yolk. 2. Cut hearts of palm into rounds then pour stock over palm and stir. 3. Place mixture in large saucepan then add water and cook 3 minutes over medium heat. 4. Gradually add yogurt then season with salt and pepper. 5. Sprinkle with parsley and serve. |
