Easy cream of broccoli soup recipe from my son-in-law's mother. Ingredients:
20 ounces frozen chopped broccoli |
3 tbsp minced onion |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 1/2 cups milk |
2 tbsp butter |
8 oz cubed velveeta cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook the broccoli to the desired doneness by your preferred method (I microwave mine). 2. In a medium saucepan, stir together the broccoli, onion, mushroom soup, milk and butter. 3. Simmer about 3 minutes. 4. Add the cubed cheese and stir it in as it melts. 5. Serve immediately. |
