Ingredients:
2 tablespoons pan drippings from roast of beef |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 cup milk |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat drippings in a heavy saucepan over low heat. Add flour; stir until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add salt and pepper. Serve hot with roast beef. |
