this is a simple basic recipe that you can use as is or 'jazz it up' Ingredients:
1 pkg cream cheese |
1 tbs minced garlic |
1 tbs mayonnaise |
3-4 chipotle packed in adobo sauce |
chile oil as needed |
Directions:
1. Cube the cream cheese 2. and put it in a 3. food processor 4. with the garlic, 5. mayonnaise 6. and chipotle. 7. As the mixture 8. is being processed, 9. drizzle in chile oil 10. until the mixture 11. takes on a creamy, 12. easily spread consistency. 13. The chipotle I use 14. are usually packed 15. in adobo sauce, 16. so I use a fork 17. to pick them out, 18. but I don't take any 19. special care in shaking 20. or scraping of the sauce. 21. This spread is excellent 22. when spread 23. onto celery sticks, 24. dipped with carrots, 25. as a substitute as 26. a sandwich spread, 27. as a substitute for 28. sour cream with fajitas, 29. breakfast burritos |
