Always wear gloves when handling jalapenos!!! Any kind of bacon will work, just remember thick sliced bacon will take longer to cook than regular bacon! If you desire more of a kick, this is also delicious with habanero peppers. Ingredients:
12 fresh whole jalapenos |
cream cheese (8 oz should be more than enough) |
2-3 cloves garlic, chopped |
6 slices of bacon, halved |
toothpicks |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees 2. Slice each jalapeno in half & completely remove seeds. 3. Mix cream cheese and garlic and stuff peppers. 4. Wrap a slice of bacon around each pepper. 5. Secure with toothpicks 6. Place on a shallow baking pan and cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping half way through to get the bacon nice and crispy all around! |
