This recipe is a rich, rich, rich,pound cake. You may add 3/4 c.chopped maraschino cherries and 1/2 c. chopped pecans and it's pretty and pink!!!.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. softened butter
3 c. sugar
1 8oz. bar cream cheese softened
6 eggs
3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
1. Cream butter, sugar and cream cheese thoroughly.
2. Add eggs one at a time
3. beating well after each egg.
4. Sift flour and add to creamed mixture
5. Add vanilla
6. mix well
7. Pour into 9 tube pan.
8. Bake at 300'
9. For 1 1/2 hrs.
10. you may make sprinkle with powdered sugar if you like.
