Delicious cream cheese pound cake.
Ingredients:
2c flour
2tsp baking powder
1/4tsp salt
1(8oz)pkg. cream cheese
1c butter
4 eggs
11/2 tsp grated lemon rind
2tsp lemon juice
1tsp vanilla
11/2c sugar
powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 325. In mixing bowl,add flour,baking powder and salt;set aside. Cream together cream cheese and butter till blended. Beat in sugar till smooth. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Add lemon juice,rind,vanilla;mix. Slowly sift in flour mixture until blendee. Beat until flour is completely mixed into batter(batter will be heavy). turn into buttered bundt pan.
2. bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let stand in pan 10 mins. Place on serving plate and let cool. dust with powdered sugar.
