Cream Cheese Pound Cake

This is a heavy, dense, extremely good pound cake.
Ingredients:
1 8oz. cream cheese
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups margarine or butter
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups white sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour a 10 tube pan or bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy.
3. Add eggs two at a time, beating well with each addition.
4. Add flour all at once and mix in.
5. Add vanilla.
6. Pour into pan.
7. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
8. Check for doneness at 1 hour. A toothpick inserted into center of cake should come out clean.
