I recieved this recipe after my friend made it for me. It was very good, makes a nice tasty crust and a super moist cake. You can play with it and use different flavored extracts. I also like almond extract in it. Ingredients:
cream cheese pound cake |
1 lb. butter |
1 (8oz) package cream cheese |
2 3/4 cup sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoon each vanilla, and lemon flavoring |
dash of salt |
6 eggs, large |
3 cups cake flour (sifted 3 times) |
Directions:
1. Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar till light and fluffy 2. Add the flavoring and salt. 3. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition 4. Add flour. Blend well. 5. Pour into well greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325* for 1 hour, 10 min. 6. *Try 3 teaspoons of vanilla and 1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon extract |
