I made this to frost Red Velvet cupcakes and it was just wonderful! Super easy, especially now that I have a Kitchenaid! :-) Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
4 tablespoons butter, softened |
2 cups powdered sugar |
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Using a mixer, blend the cream cheese and butter until well combined and creamy. 2. With the mixer on low, add the powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time, mixing completely with each addition. 3. Add the lemon extract and vanilla, and whip for one minute. |
