This is a great cream cheese frosting recipe that I came up with. I use it for everything (exept when I need chocolate frosting :-) ). Everyone loves it. Ingredients:
2 lbs powdered sugar |
8 ounces cream cheese |
1/2 cup butter (1 cube) |
1 -2 tablespoon vanilla (to taste) |
1/2 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Sift powdered sugar into larger mixing bowl. 2. Add softened or melted butter, cream cheese, and vanilla. 3. Start mixing slowly, and gradually beat faster as powdered sugar disolves. 4. For a fluffy frosting, beat 5-10 minutes, beat until ingredients are totally mixed in for a not fluffy frosting. 5. Add milk to thin frosting and powdered sugar to thicken. 6. Enough for 1 regular cake, 24-30 cupcakes - . |
