Cream Cheese Butter Cookies |

Will make these alot in the future. Ingredients:
1/2 pound butter |
1 cup sugar |
2-1/2 cup flour |
1 egg yolk |
1 tsp of either vanilla or almond extract |
4 oz softened cream cheese |
jam of choices |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 2. Cream together butter & sugar 3. Add flour and egg yolk & extract and mix well 4. Add cream cheese and mix well 5. Roll into 5/8 balls 6. Place on ungreased cookie sheets (cookies do not spread when baked so you can put them together somewhat) 7. Press your thumb into each to flatten it and make an indentation. 8. Fill with jam 9. Bake 350 for about 15-20 minutes 10. Watch to be sure they do not brown to much around edges 11. You want them cooked but still light in color |
