A sweet treat from Tibet. Prep and cooking times does not include chilling. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs cream cheese |
1 1/2 lbs sour cream |
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/3 cup sifted flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup almonds, coarsely chopped |
1/4 cup cashews, coarsely chopped |
1/4 cup golden raisin |
1/4 cup flaked coconut |
nonstick cooking spray |
whipped cream |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a food processor and process until mixture is well blended and still soft. 2. Place remaining ingredients in a large bowl and add the dough. Using a heavy wooden spoon, fold in thoroughly. 3. Spray a 3 quart baking dish and add mixture. Using the back of your wooden spoon, smooth over the top. 4. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 325F or until lightly browned. 5. Chill in refrigerator at least 8 hours. 6. To serve, cut into cubes and place in individual dessert glasses and top with whipped cream. |
