Ingredients:
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 cup butter
2 cups cream or 2 cups half-and-half
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients.
2. Cut in 1/4 cup of butter.
3. Add the cream.
4. Roll out on a floured board.
5. Cut with a 2-inch cutter.
6. Bake on an ungreased pan in a hot oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
