This is a delicious, low-fat cracker that is fabulous with any topping: cream cheese, jams or jellies, yogurt cheese, peanut butter - it's easy, too! Ingredients:
2 3/4 cup unbleached flour |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 cup mayonnaise (any fat level) |
8 oz plain yogurt (any fat level) |
Directions:
1. Stir together first 4 ingredients. 2. Mix together mayonnaise and yogurt, then add to flour mixture. 3. Form mixture into a ball with your hands. 4. Cut into 16 equal pieces. 5. Roll out each piece until very thin. 6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. 7. Bake for 7 minutes in a preheated 400ยบ oven. 8. Cool on wire racks. 9. Store in covered container. 10. Break into uneven pieces to serve. |
