You can be really creative with these. Add raisins, nuts, or make them with jam. Ingredients:
1 cup cottage cheese, small curd |
1 cup margarine |
2 cups flour |
melted butter |
cinnamon |
sugar |
Directions:
1. Cream cottage cheese. 2. Add margarine, beat well. 3. Add flour. 4. Chill at least 3 hours, (overnight is better). 5. Divide dough into 2 parts. 6. Roll out on floured board into circles. 7. Brush with melted butter. 8. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. 9. Cut with pizza cutter into 6-8 wedges. 10. Roll like butterhorns. 11. Place seam side down on lightly greased sheet. 12. Bake at 375* for 20 minutes. |
