Easy seafood appetizer. Goes great with crackers or in tiny pie shells. Great for parties. Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour |
1 lg onion, chopped very fine |
1 lg bell pepper, chopped fine |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
2 ribs celery, chopped fine |
1 lb crawfish, coursly ground/chopped |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 cup water |
1 cup cooking oil |
chopped green onion for garnish |
Directions:
1. In heavy pot ,preheat oil , add flour. 2. Cook until slightly golden and looks like a wet paste. 3. Add vegetables and cook 2 to 3 minutes. 4. Add crawfish and cook 2 to 3minutes. 5. Stir in Cream of Mushroom & Water. 6. Season to taste, cook on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes 7. Add onion tops. 8. Serves 20.. Freezes well to reheat and serve. |
