I was surprised to not find a recipe like this on Recipe Zaar. They have a great texture, are easy to make, and taste wonderful. Ingredients:
2 cups flour (at least) |
6 tablespoons sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup milk (scant) |
2 large eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons orange juice |
1/2 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen) |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients. 2. Cut in butter. 3. Combine wet ingredients. 4. Mix dry and wet together, just until wet. 5. Fold in cranberries. 6. Spoon mixture into greased a scone pan, or into muffin tins, or spoon by tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet. 7. Bake in a 400* oven 20-25 minutes. |
