Cranberry Sauce the British Way |

Ingredients:
2 (9 ounce) packages fresh cranberries |
1 cup cider vinegar |
1 cup water |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup white sugar |
1 cinnamon stick |
1 teaspoon ground allspice |
1/2 inch piece of peeled ginger |
Directions:
1. Rinse cranberries and sort. 2. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. 3. Remove the cinnamon stick and ginger. 4. Pour into bowl and serve at room temperature or chill before serving. |
