This is a recipe I obtained from an estate where there were box after box ater box of recipes dating back to 1896. It's amazing, the person who maintained this collection dated everything and had it all categorized. Read more . Can you believe I got over 400,000 (and very old recipes) for $20.00. I'm typing them up as time allows, the recipes are so brittle and some illegible. A masterpiece. I actually tried this one because I love everything in it. This is amazing. Hope you enjoy as much as I do....... Ingredients:
3 packages raspberry gelatin |
1-1/2 cups boiling water |
1 can whole cranberries and juice |
1 small can crushed pineapple and juice |
1 cup port wine |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
8 ounce package cream cheese |
1 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Dissolve gelatin in hot water. 2. Cool slightly. 3. Add cranberries, pineapple, wine and walnuts. 4. Let set in large glass pan. 5. Mix cream cheese and sour cream then spread over gelatin mixture. 6. Chill several hours then cut into squares. |
