This is a very pretty dish served in a crystal bowl on a holiday buffet. It can be used as a salad or a dessert! Ingredients:
2 (12 ounce) packages cranberries |
4 cups white sugar |
1 cup diced celery |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
2 (12 ounce) containers frozen whipped topping, thawed |
1 (10.5 ounce) package miniature marshmallows |
Directions:
1. Finely chop cranberries in blender or food processor. Place in a non-reactive bowl, cover with sugar, and let sit 4 hours. 2. Combine sugared cranberries with celery, walnuts, whipped topping and marshmallows; stir to coat thoroughly. Refrigerate until serving. |
