This recipe comes from a 2004 cookbook, The Joy of Cranberries: The Tangy Red Treat, that I got from my 1st partner in a cookbook swap here on Zaar! Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls |
1 (8 ounce) package brie cheese, rind removed, cut into 1/2-inch cubes |
3/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fm then lightly grease a 12 pizza pan. 2. Unroll dough & separate into triangles, placing them on prepared pizza pan with tips toward center. 3. Press out dough with hands, connecting all the edges that are close together. 4. Bake about 6 minutes or until light golden brown, then remove from oven. 5. Sprinkle with cheese & spoon cranberry evenly over cheese, before sprinkling entire 'pizza' with pecans. 6. Return to oven & bake until cheese is melted & crust is golden brown, about 8 minutes. 7. Remove from oven & cool slightly, before cutting into wedges. 8. Any leftovers should be refrigerated. |
