This sweet-and-sour pie is simple to make. It really tastes like autumn on a plate! Note: If you omit the brandy, add 1/2 cup of orange juice. Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups cranberries |
2 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons cornstarch |
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup brandy (optional, see note above) (optional) |
1/4 cup orange juice |
9 inches double crust pie crusts |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, cornstarch, flour, brandy, and orange juice. 2. Turn mixture into a pie crust and top with the other crust. 3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 - 60 minutes. |
