Serve this chutney with roast turkey, pork roast or baked ham. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 large onion, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped |
1 (16 ounce) can whole-berry cranberry sauce |
1 (15 ounce) can sliced pears, drained and each slice cut in half |
1/2 cup seedless raisin |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice |
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add the onion and garlic; cook and stir for 5 minutes or until the onion is translucent. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 20 minutes, until the sauce is slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
